Nicki Becker (she/her) has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the
University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a certificate in Trauma-Informed Care. She believes
that healing begins in a space where people feel safe, accepted, and truly heard.
Nicki began her counseling journey in school-based settings, supporting elementary and middle
school students and their families. That experience gave her a strong foundation in understanding
how trauma, relationships, and environment shape development, and taught her the importance
of meeting each client with compassion and flexibility.
Nicki enjoys supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate experiences like anxiety,
depression, self-harming thoughts and behaviors, life transitions, low self-esteem, and relational
struggles. Her approach is person-centered and collaborative, drawing from play-based therapy,
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-
informed practices to meet each client’s unique needs.
At the heart of Nicki’s work is a commitment to helping clients reconnect with their strengths,
build emotional resilience, and move toward self-acceptance and hope. Looking forward to
supporting and connecting with people while working towards the change they desire/deserve.
